Notes from Emotional Wellness Part 1

Notes from Emotional Wellness Part 2

What is emotional wellness?

The ability to successfully handle life’s stresses and adapt to change in difficult times

What are the signs of emotional wellness?

  • You like who you are

  • You are flexible

  • You are in tune with how you feel

  • You treat others well

  • You show gratitude & appreciation

  • You have meaning in your life

What affects our emotional wellness?

  • Our senses take in all the information around us

  • Our filters DELETE, DISTORT, GENERALIZE, STORE, SUPPRESS what we take in based on our Language, Memories, Values, Beliefs, Attitudes, Race, Culture, Ancestral Influence

  • This creates within us Images, Voices and Feelings which result in an EMOTIONAL STATE

  • This can then convert into our physiology and cause us an ache, pain, or illness

  • Our emotional state also then drives our behaviour

  • OUR BEHAVIOUR IS VERY SPECIFIC TO OUR FILTERS that we have gathered over our life

What are you making up about life?

What beliefs can you release, that will help you change your behaviour and how you react, and improve your life?

What can you do to help release your beliefs and prevent increasing the intensity of old ones and adding new destructive beliefs?

  • Use techniques to release trapped emotions

  • Use essential oils
o Calming oils: Peace & Calming, Stress Away, Lavender
o Uplifting oils: Orange, Christmas Spirit (of course )
o The Feelings Kit oils (Forgiveness, Inner Child, Valor, Harmony, Release, Present Time)
o TraumaLife, Hope, Grounding essential oil blend
o There are many others, go with your intuition!

  • Always carry essential oils or something that helps you deal with stress and difficult situations
    o Calming oils as above
o Valor essential oil blend for courage and confidence to get through this

If you would like more information about the above oils or any others, please do get in touch with the person who introduced you to oils or myself
